We repair all types of bikes including road bikes, mountain bikes, hybrid bikes, BMX bikes, unicycles, tandems, Ebikes and more. 

The cost of bike repairs varies depending on the nature of the repair. We offer competitive pricing and will provide you with an estimate before beginning any work. Click the "SERVICE PRICES" link above for some of our general service prices.  

We recommend bringing your bike in for maintenance at least once a year. However, if you ride frequently or in harsh conditions, more frequent maintenance may be necessary. 

Yes! We do not have a traditional storefront or showroom. All repair work is done at your location, or picked up and brought back to our home-based service center to be worked on. You do not need to wait for a shop to open, load your bike in the car, roll it through a crowded showroom, and then wait weeks to do this routine again in reverse. The type of repair, location and schedule determine where the work will be performed. Regardless, a majority of our repairs are completed same day, or within 48 hours.  

No problem! Contact us and we will make arrangements for you to bring your bike to our service center at a time that is convenient for you. Customer drop offs are by appointment only. 

At this time we do not have a traditional store. Our business is primarily service orientated, there is not much need for an storefront stocked with expensive inventory. All of our work is completed at your location or brought back to our home-based service center. Customer drop offs are encouraged, contact us and we will set up a time for you to bring the bike to our home based service center. 

There are lots of factors when it comes to repairing your bike. The type of repair, distance traveled, parts needs, scheduling are all considerations. Our goal is to come to you on your service date, and repair your bike on the spot. However, in some cases we will need to pickup your bike, bring it back to our service center, then return it when completed. Which is usually within 72 hours.  

Plenty! I have over 30 years experience in the bicycle industry. Beginning in the 80s, I worked at a small shop doing sales and repairs. In the 90s, I started doing sales and service at a large Chicagoland bicycle retailer. In the 2000s, I continued my career path in the bicycle industry, becoming the service manager and eventually the general manager for a large bicycle retailer. During that time I sold and serviced all of the major brands. I am a graduate of Barnett Bicycle Institute. I have experience doing high end builds and maintenance, prepping bikes for MTB and road races, and in getting the family bikes ready for summer. I also restore vintage bicycles as a hobby (BMX, MTBs, Unicycles, Cruisers, Sting-Rays and anything else with wheels). Contact us with your service needs! 

We don't! This may seem unusual, but it is our current business plan. Our focus is servicing your bicycle, and it is what we do best. We do not have to worry about maintaining a retail store or tying up thousands of dollars in inventory. All we focus on is service. This means faster turn around time, and quality repair work every time.

Very! Our service area is equipped with quality tools from Park Tool Company, Snap-on and Craftsman. We have the capability of storing dozens of bikes short term securely in our climate controlled service area.  

Occasionally we do have used bikes. They are posted for sale here in our online store or on our Instagram page (link below). Any used bike that we sell comes fully tuned and ready to ride at minimum. Most have new chains, cassettes, freewheels, tires and grips. We don’t just wipe them off and put them back on the road. 

Some. We stock common repair parts. We also purchase various parts and accessories when we come across a good deal. We have access to 1000s of parts and accessories from major brands through several distributors. If there's something you are interested in, give us a call and we'll talk about getting it in stock for you to purchase. 

We are a fully insured and registered business in the state of Illinois, formally established in 2024.

Because we don't have a traditional store front, our hours vary. We will set up an appointment for your repair that works with your schedule. Generally we have appointments 7 days a week, from 8am to 8pm.  

Yes! We test ride every bike we work on, and have decades of experience in bike repair. We do our best to get your repair done properly the first time. However, there are dozens of factors that work together to make your bike move forward and sometimes things happen.
If you aren't satisfied with our work within 10 days, contact us so we can talk about it and make it right. 

Usually No, but sometimes Yes. Our business model is centered around only servicing bicycles. Some E-bikes have similar if not identical parts to traditional bicycles. Tires, tubes, brake systems, pedals, grips and seats are common examples of this similarity. We do not typically work on or service non traditional bicycles, electric motors, batteries, or operating systems. However, repairs that are similar to traditional bicycle repairs, we will do. However, keep in mind labor prices of E-bikes are generally more expensive than labor prices for a traditional bicycle. As always contact us to discuss your needs!
